Season 29 Starts Monday, June 15th, 2020 at WOOFS!
The Loves, Hands, Points, Time and Friends lost to Season 28 will forever be known as the “Missing Season”.
However, all the effort spent earning points and striving for the Season 28 Finale is not lost completely. With that in mind, we will have a special Season 28 Finale on July 13th.
The Season 28 “The Missing Season” Not Quite So Grand Finale, will be played as a LAST LONGER game among the qualifiers for the Season 28 Grand Finale. Card protectors for the final table, solid silver shark coins for the winner, an actual trophy, and more. If you qualified for the Season 28 Grand Finale, you are qualified for the Season 28 Not Quite So Grand Finale. A full list of Qualified players is at the bottom of this message. All qualified players will play in the usual Monday night poker game alongside everyone else.
“Final Table” for the NQSGF will be reached when only 8 players who qualified for the Season 28 Grand Finale are left.
Now, on to our new and far more sanitized Season 29!
2000 points to qualify for the Season 29 Grand Finale!
Win it and in it! All you need to qualify for the Grand Finale is win one nightly tournament!
The Season will run from June 15th to September 14th, 2020. The last day for points will be the 14th and the Season 29 Grand Finale will be on September 21st!
We don’t need to go into the reasons everyone is trying to keep everything cleaner and more sterile. We at TD Gamenights believe that best and safest practices should still be adhered to in order to have safe and enjoyable poker games. To that end, the following steps and rules are being implemented:
All players will be checked for temperature by staff.
All players will be asked to use hand sanitizer before sitting at the table, each time they return to the table.
All players will be encouraged to use masks at the table when not drinking or eating. If you don’t want to wear a mask just keep ordering something from your friendly bartender!
If you show signs or symptoms of a cold or flu, you may be asked to leave the poker game.
Due to table limitations we are enforcing, your guests and people out of the game, will not be allowed to sit at the table with you (TD and Dealers are exempt).
We are sanitizing the chips and dealer buttons, and table tops every night.
For the time being, we have switched to traditional Bicycle playing cards. These cards will be thrown away at the end of each tournament.
We reserve the right to change these rules and procedures as recommendations and regulations change.
Please remember that your waiters and bartenders are working in what should truly be considered
ESSENTIAL jobs and your tips for their service should reflect your appreciation of that.
